Restorative Justice & Nonviolence - 27th October 2015

Sacro’s Annual Lecture 2015 will be delivered by Arun Gandhi, grandson of India’s legendary Mohandas K ‘Mahatma’ Gandhi. The lecture will be held in Parliament Hall on Tuesday 27 October.

In his lecture, Arun Gandhi will share his philosophy and belief in total nonviolence as a solution to addressing the harm caused by violence and fear. Growing up in apartheid-era South Africa, he learned from his parents and grandparents that justice does not mean revenge, it means transforming the opponent through love and suffering.

After the lecture, Sacro will hold an informal reception. We hope all those attending will stay with us and take the opportunity to meet, mingle and reflect on what promises to be a fascinating lecture.

The lecture begins at 6.30pm and is followed by a reception at 7.30pm. Please arrive in good time. The event is free and open to the public.

Please register your attendance in advance  whether you plan to attend the dinner and if you wish me to register you through Eventbrite:
